The clinic manager plays a key role in the implementation of CII/CPAR as an important site contact during all phases: registration, participation forms, preparing for go-live and after implementation. This 90-minute interactive webinar will provide an orientation for a clinic manager of a clinic that is interested in CII/CPAR. The webinar will provide information on:

  • The overall process
  • Roles and responsibilities of the clinic manager and other stakeholders such as the PCN facilitator, Alberta Health eHealth Support Services and the EMR vendor
  • Clinic PIA: the PIA Update Self-Assessment and the PIA Assessment with eHealth Privacy
  • How to fill out forms
  • What information and resources are helpful at various stages
  • Preparing for post go-live and identifying resources that will help the clinic once live to manage panel conflicts and develop clinic protocol for eNotifications

It is recommended that a clinic manager take advantage of materials on the CII/CPAR Tools and Resources page including:

  • FAQ
  • Team Toolkit
  • The Orientation for your EMR
  • EMR PIA Information for Clinics
  • PIA Update Self-Assessment

An Orientation for Clinic Managers of Specialist Clinics is coming soon.

This webinar will specifically address CII implementation in a specialist clinic and/or a practice without panels.
